A new fluorescent probe enables detailed study of immune cell behavior, offering a research tool to better understand CAR-T cell function.
CenSpark is a novel small-molecule fluorescent probe for selective labeling of centrioles, cilia, and flagella across biological systems without genetic manipulation, enabling unprecedented resolution of centriole dynamics in CAR-T cells at the immunological synapse. While conceptually interesting for CAR-T cell biology research, this is a tool development study with no direct patient application at this stage.
