Qualitative interviews with 14 NF1 expectant parents reveal that genetic uncertainty shapes prenatal emotional experience, manifesting as emotional restraint and cautious bonding; existing antenatal psychological interventions may need adaptation for this rare disease context. These findings highlight unmet psychosocial needs in a rare hereditary cancer predisposition syndrome.
