In 163 hypertensive patients, EASIX — a simple CBC-derived index — was independently associated with non-dipper blood pressure status and improved predictive performance when combined with arterial stiffness (AUC 0.755 combined vs. 0.723 EASIX alone). Results support EASIX as a accessible early risk stratification tool for identifying non-dippers with elevated cardiovascular risk, though prospective studies are needed.
