A*STAR Singapore researchers engineered a TACI×CD3 bispecific antibody targeting TNFR superfamily member TACI on multiple myeloma cells, demonstrating robust T-cell redirection and cytotoxicity against MM cells including those with BCMA downregulation (a major resistance mechanism). Activity against primary patient-derived MM cells was confirmed in this preclinical study.
