This review advances a bidirectional metabolic interaction framework linking host physiology (aging, nutrition, psychological stress) with tumor adaptation and therapeutic resistance, proposing that overcoming resistance requires simultaneously targeting tumor metabolism and reprogramming host metabolic milieu.
