This SR+MA evaluates liquid biopsy biomarkers in hypopharyngeal carcinoma, a head and neck cancer subtype with poor prognosis and limited diagnostic tools, synthesizing available ctDNA, circulating miRNA, and exosome evidence. While conclusions are constrained by heterogeneity and small study sizes, the analysis provides the first systematic evidence base for liquid biopsy adoption in this underserved cancer type.
