Harnessing tumor-agnostic biomarkers for precision medicine in lymphoma
Lymphoma patients are largely missing from precision medicine trials, representing a strategic gap where new tumor-agnostic treatments remain under-studied.
This narrative review identifies that contemporary precision oncology has disproportionately focused on solid cancers over lymphoma, leaving FDA-approved tumor-agnostic targets (NTRK, RET, BRAF V600E, TMB-H, MSI-H, HER2) and emerging candidates (NRG1 fusion, MTAP loss) understudied in hematologic malignancies. The authors call for inclusion of lymphoma patients in tumor-agnostic clinical trials to close this strategic gap in precision medicine.
