Endothelial dysfunction operates through shared mechanisms of impaired nitric oxide production, oxidative stress, and cytokine-driven inflammation at the intersection of atherosclerosis and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease. This review proposes endothelial-targeted therapies as a rational dual-treatment strategy for patients with co-existing cardiovascular and metabolic liver disease.
