This single-center Chinese propensity-matched study provides first real-world cardiac structural evidence for henagliflozin—a newer SGLT2 inhibitor approved in China—showing reductions in left ventricular mass index and diastolic filling parameters over 6 months in T2DM+HTN patients. While the n=66 per arm and single-center design limit generalizability, the results are directionally consistent with class effects seen for empagliflozin and dapagliflozin and build the evidence base for this agent.
