BBAC constructs an interpretable biological age estimate from 11 standard blood biomarkers (available from routine labs) by transforming each individual's biomarker level into age-years added or subtracted according to that biomarker's ACM risk profile, requiring no epigenomic or proteomic profiling. Validated in the UK Biobank and NHANES cohorts against PhenoAge, PCAge, and LinAge, the optimized BBAC showed superior ACM prediction in both univariate and multivariate settings, offering a practical, explainable biological aging clock deployable directly from existing clinical laboratory tests.
