This study prospectively analyzed the RCII composite index across two large cohorts from Chinese and UK populations, demonstrating that the dual lipid-inflammation risk measure provides incremental predictive value over traditional risk factors for hypertension and major cardiovascular events. RCII may support integrated cardiometabolic risk stratification beyond conventional lipid panels.
