In 212 R/R DLBCL patients from the French DESCAR-T registry, standardized FDG-PET interpretation using TMTV and Deauville scoring demonstrated that baseline TMTV >30 cm³ and metabolic response at 1 and 3 months post-CAR T-cell infusion are strong independent prognostic biomarkers for both progression-free and overall survival. These findings establish actionable PET biomarker thresholds to guide post-CAR T-cell monitoring and risk stratification in clinical practice.
