A randomized open-label proof-of-concept trial (n=28 RRMS on natalizumab) shows that adjunctive dulaglutide significantly improved metabolic parameters and showed exploratory trends toward improved functional performance (walking, manual dexterity), though primary NfL and MRI volumetric outcomes were not significantly changed. These preliminary results support further investigation of GLP-1 RA neuroprotection in multiple sclerosis.
