Epidemiological Studies on Type 2 Diabetes Using the German Disease Analyser Database: A Narrative Review.
This narrative review summarizes pharmacoepidemiological research on type 2 diabetes conducted using the German IQVIA Disease Analyser database, a large longitudinal dataset from general practices and specialist offices. The authors conclude that Disease Analyser-based evidence is a valuable but methodologically constrained complement to clinical trial data for informing contemporary diabetes management decisions.
