BACKGROUND: Cameroon lacks a national screening algorithm for Human papilloma virus (HPV) infection. CONCLUSIONS: This study revealed a strong concordance between Abbott and Sacace kits for HR-HPV detection, demonstrating interoperability of these two multiplex systems available locally.
