Immune therapy before stem cell transplant in Hodgkin lymphoma patients showed good survival and disease control without excess side effects.

Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have transformed the treatment landscape for relapsed or refractory classical Hodgkin lymphoma (cHL); however, a substantial subset of patients ultimately requires allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (allo-HCT) as consolidation therapy. These findings suggest that ICI therapy prior to allo-HCT is associated with encouraging survival and disease control without excessive non-relapse mortality, supporting its feasibility as a bridging strategy.
